Mariah began working for CASIT in late 2012 as a Student ITC in the Help Desk before joining the CASIT Staff team part-time in mid-2014 while finishing her undergraduate degree in History and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and then as a full-time staff member after graduation in 2015. As the Operational Coordinator for CASIT, Mariah is responsible for providing administrative support to the CASIT and SSIL, including attending weekly CASIT Leadership meetings on behalf of the Business Office, coordination of the CAS Computer Replacement Program (CCRP) and assisting the HR Manager with any and all HR related tasks. Mariah is also the Chair of the CASIT Diversity and Inclusion committee which consists of approximately 10 CASIT Staff and student employees.
Mariah volunteers as the Speaker’s Bureau Chair for Planned Parenthood’s Lane County Leadership and Advocacy Team where she coordinates Speak-Out events where patient advocates share personal stories indicating why PP services are necessary and vital to living healthy and successful lives. In addition to volunteering Mariah enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, reading, and learning new things.
