CASIT Software Upgrade Policy

CASIT currently offers no cost upgrades for the following products:

  • Microsoft Windows
  • Microsoft Office (Win and Mac)
  • Apple OSX

The following restrictions apply:

  • Only current, active CAS Faculty and Staff are eligible.
  • Installs may only be performed on University owned equipment.

To determine if the device is university owned, check it for a University of Oregon HR property sticker on it. If the device does not, the user must offer proof the device was a university purchase (e.g. a purchase order). If the device has no HR sticker but was a university purchase we can help the department get the device into inventory.
